Prevention Program

HIV/AIDS prevention program allows African Aid Organization to provide the knowledge, the skills, and the support that help young people to avoid at-risk behavior. The knowledge also helps to improve care and lessen the impact of the pandemic.

It is critical for young people to understand how HIV virus is transmitted and how they must protect themselves in order to stay HIV-negative. Children must learn to translate the knowledge acquired from HIV prevention into actions such as postponing sex until they are mature enough to protect themselves from HIV.

The best time to establish enduring patterns of healthy behavior is when HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention education is done during the early teenage years
